One Million People Standing Together for Jesus

JESUS CHANGES EVERYTHING!

We believe there’s power in coming together. Jesus promised whenever two or more come together in His name, He is present. It’s emboldening to join with others, to know we’re not alone, to realize we can do more together than apart.

July 16, 2016 is the day when this generation lays down what divides us and lifts up Jesus who unites us. On a day of unified prayer, worship, and a call for catalytic change, we will meet on the National Mall to declare that Jesus changes everything.

Tomorrow – VBS and Music Camp Final Programs

They’re always a lot of fun and the kids have worked hard to show you what they’ve learned.

Please come and support the children – and the teachers – after a great week of fun and learning.

VBS (Vacation Bible School) final program is Friday, July 15 at 11:00 am. More information at http://www.penderumc.org/vbs

Capital Fundraising Campaign “Building in Faith for the Future”

Come join us for dinner and fellowship, while at the same time raising funds for the Building in Faith for the Future Capital Campaign!

Don’t feel like cooking? Let’s eat out together and show others what a GREAT church family we have here at Pender!

July 12th: Baja Fresh (Fairfax Towne Center) – Join us for dinner 4pm-10pm and 15% of all the orders placed during that time frame will be donated to the building campaign

Help us Feed Our Mission Team Heading to Philippi, WV!

08 Jul

Our mission team will be heading to Philippi on July 22nd through July 30th. Help us keep them strong & energized as they minister to the people there by providing them with food to eat.

There will be a sign-up sheet for needed food donations located on the Sign-Up Center in the Church Lobby.

Cash donations are also welcome (please indicate donation is for Philippi). Please drop off your food donations in the Kitchen marked “Philippi” by July 21st.
