Cushing's and kidney cancer (renal cell carcinoma) patient, founder, owner and webmaster of Cushing's Help and Support, web designer, piano teacher and mom. I am a Cushing's patient who has dealt with Cushing's symptoms since 1983 (or earlier) and the aftereffects of pituitary surgery since 1987. Because I had very little support for my symptoms, diagnosis and surgery, I decided to try to make things a little better for other patients and started a support site called Cushing's Help and Support in 2000. The site has grown to astronomical numbers. This disease isn't as rare as doctors have told us! In 2006, I was also diagnosed with kidney cancer (renal cell carcinoma). My left kidney and adrenal gland were removed. Having an adrenal gland removed complicates my post-Cushing's symptoms. I am not planning to have any more rare and unusual diseases. Feel called to minister to the sick, the home bound and lonely, or even a friend who is hurting, but just don’t know what to talk about?

Designed to teach listening skills and how to be helpful to someone going through life’s difficulties, Karen Cross will teach a three-day class for ladies on March 26-28th at 9:30am – 3:00 pm at Pender.

Tonight! Wednesday Night Women’s Bible Study

New session begins on Wednesday, March 12th, 7:30-9:30 p.m. in the Pender Library.

All women are welcome to join this wonderful “Joyful in Jesus” group as we study the Bible and explore the lessons God has for each of us.

This group spends time in fellowship, discussion and prayer. Weekly lessons and preparation questions are included in the study.

2014 Budget

It was developed through months of prayer and discussion by our Lay Leadership and Pastors.
We believe the budget is Holy Spirit inspired and represents God’s direction for Pender.
It represents a hard look at our core mission work and the financial environment currently present.
Our priority in compiling the budget was to execute God’s vision.
Our second priority was to be good stewards of the resources God provides.
