Thailand Short-term Mission Team:
This is short notice, but the Thailand mission team is leaving on January 12th and is collecting items for baby hygiene kits to be used in their ministry. A basket will be placed in the Narthex this Sunday, January 11th, to collect the following items that will be included in the kits:
- baby nail clippers
- baby rattles
- teething rings
Peru Short-term Mission Team:
The Peru mission team is collecting the following items which can be left in the box marked “Peru” in the Narthex. Questions? Contact Ivelisse or Katelyn.
- toothbrushes
- small hand lotions
- used/inexpensive jewelry
- small scarves

The second semester of Fun With Music will meet from January 9-May 15, every Friday from 10-11:30 am in the Cornerstone Room (Room 215).
This program is for moms and dads with their children ages 0 to 5. A fee of $30 covers the cost of food and supplies.
Each week there is 30 minutes of singing, a snack and toys are brought out for the children to play. The parents are served a breakfast and have the opportunity to fellowship with each other.

- January 4: New Directions Sunday School Class, “All In” by Mark Batterson. The following is a brief synopsis regarding the study – “Nothing belongs to you — not even you! Discover the radical act of dethroning yourself and enthroning Christ as King of your life!” New members are always welcome!! We meet in Room 206 at 9:30 AM. - January 4: Sunday School Class: The Truth Project (began September 21) (in the Genesis to Revelation Sunday School Class in Room 218-220) This Focus on the Family’s DVD series, with 26 one-half hour lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett, is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical perspective. lesson discusses the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life.
- January 4: Sunday School Class: The Good and Beautiful God (began September 21) (Room 205 – Library) A new Sunday School course immediately after the 9:30 am worship service led by Brian and Angie Green will be reading and discussing this book. Pender is hosting a Hypothermia Center in January and help is needed during the week of January 11-18.
We need servants to welcome our brothers and sisters in from the street during the week.
Servant roles are: greeters, meal preparers/servers/clean-up, overnight security, van drivers, food/toiletry/etc. donors, and anyone interested in experiencing the joy of serving our fellow man!
