Friday Evening October 10 from 7-9 and Oct 11 from 9-4:30 – The Art of Marriage
Pender United Methodist Church
When you were standing at the altar reciting your marriage vows, did you have any idea that marriage would be so complex? It probably didn’t take you long to understand that your spouse is not as much like you as you thought. But figuring them out is more than just an equation. Marriage is more than a science; it’s an art. And like any art form, requires an investment of time, focused study and the right tools. If you need to soften some of the edges in your relationship, or want to brighten the landscape of your marriage, The Art of Marriage is for you. This 6-session marriage event allows you to experience God’s design for marriage from expert teachers and humorous vignettes. You’ll graduate in a few hours better educated about your marriage, your spouse and yourself. Block out time in your schedule to attend The Art of Marriage.
Whether planning to get married, newlywed, or just need a tune up, take the Art of Marriage challenge at Pender Church on October 10 and 11 and take a bold step in preserving your legacy to your children and grandchildren. Your marriage is your most important legacy; isn’t it worth $45 and 10 hours of your time to see how you can make it last for generations to come? We will even cover lunch and child care if you need it!
Registration: Please register only once per couple. To avoid being charged twice, choose only one name as the “Attendee”. There will be an opportunity later to add your spouse’s name.
If you have children you would like to sign up for free child care during the event, please indicate their names and ages on the registration form. Parents must pack and bring snacks and lunch for kids; drinks will be provided for kids.
