You won’t want to miss this Sunday, June 14th!

  • June 14th is Senior Sunday and we will be recognizing all of our 2015 graduates during our 11:00 Service. (If you are a 2015 high school or college graduate, please wear your cap and gown.)
  • It’s always an exciting time to see our first graders receive their Bibles, which will also take place during the 11:00 Service.
  • After the 11:00 service, stay and enjoy our Pender Picnic and RevKev Send off! Everyone is welcome to attend! Enjoy great food, a wonderful time of fellowship with others in our Church family, and LOTS of fun and games.

  • June 14: Sunday School Class: The Good and Beautiful God (began September 21) (Room 205 – Library) A new Sunday School course immediately after the 9:30 am worship service led by Brian and Angie Green will be reading and discussing this book. New Directions Sunday School Class

You are invited to join our class when we begin our new study on June 28.

We will study the book entitled “The Holy Spirit – An Introduction” by John Bevere. This curriculum, which provides us with DVD’s and CD’s, will teach us about the Holy Spirit’s personality and power – and how you can get to know Him better.

We meet in Classrooms 218-220 during the 9:30 Sunday School Hour, and we would love to welcome new members!

JLU (Jesus Loves You)

Youth Group for 4-6th Graders

End of year meeting is this Sunday, June 14th from 5 – 7 pm. Pender’s Jr. Youth Group will be saying goodbye to our 6th graders with pizza and ice cream.

 

FREE CARWASH for ALL from 5-6 pm as part of our outreach project. (It is really FREE — no donations!)

Please bring extra clothes to change into; traditionally kids get soaked!
