Register for Easter Story Time & Egg Hunt at Pender UMC

Please join us for the Pender UMC Kids’ Easter Event on Monday March 30th at 10 am.

We will be enjoying an Easter story, crafts and egg hunts for kids up to 12 years old.

Please bring a basket to collect eggs and a camera!

There is no fee for this event; please RSVP by clicking on the link below to help us prepare for your kids!

Pender UMM Dinner ~ February 25th at 7pm

Our guest speaker for the evening will be Pastor Kenny who will be sharing some of the wonderful stories and blessings that happened during his recent trip to Israel.

Other items on the agenda include breaking bread together, devotional time, mission trips, and mulch sale.

Everyone is welcome so please come and join us for this special time of fellowship.

Poland Short-Term Mission Trip ~ Is God Calling YOU?

If you are interested in participating in the July 4-11, 2015 Poland Short-Term Mission trip sports camp, please attend the initial meeting on February 22 at 12:30 pm in the Church Library. If you cannot attend this meeting but desire to go on the mission trip, please contact Benny Wetzler by clicking on this link.
Scholarships: Help send a Polish youth to the Short-term Missions Camp! Camp costs for the youth are approximately $250. This covers all room, board and activity costs for one youth for the camp. Any donation amount is a blessing.

Sunday School II

Praise God for our Growing 10:45 Adult Sunday School Class! To Our Children & Teens — are YOU interested in a 10:45-Noon Sunday School Class?

Sunday School II for Children: Kindergarten through 6th Grade. Please let us know if this is of interest to you and your children by contacting Caroline Anderson by clicking here or sign up on the Connection Card on Sunday.
Sunday School II for Teens: 7th – 12th Grade. If interested, please sign up on the Connection Card this Sunday.
Sunday School II for Adults: All adults are welcome to join our current ongoing class meeting in Rm 218.

If there is enough interest, we will begin Sunday School II for children and teens. These classes would be in addition to those presently offered at 9:30 a.m.

Denying is not a word our society uses much anymore. Dying to self certainly isn’t the message of the TV preachers. Yet Jesus says that we must do both to follow Him. Denying and Dying we enter into following Jesus.

February 22: Sunday School Class: The Truth Project (began September 21) This Focus on the Family’s DVD series, with 26 one-half hour lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett, is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical perspective. lesson discusses the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life.
February 22: Sunday School Class: The Good and Beautiful God (began September 21) (Room 205 – Library) A new Sunday School course immediately after the 9:30 am worship service led by Brian and Angie Green will be reading and discussing this book.
