Beginner’s Bible Study

Starting Sunday, March 9th. 9:30-10:40 a.m. in the Pender Library. This is a 12-week study of the books of Colossians and Philemon.

This is a good opportunity to develop and improve Bible Study skills and explore the Bible in a group setting. No prior Bible Study experience is expected. Contact Mary Wetzler for additional information.

New Study in New Directions Sunday School Class

Max Lucado believes the day Christ comes will be the beginning of the very best. Our primary task is to be prepared and peaceful while we wait. If you like to look to the end of time as a source of comfort, please join us on Sundays, beginning March 9th at 9:30 am as we study “When Christ Comes”.

New Night for Prayer Shawl Ministry

Our Pender Prayer Shawl Ministry will now meet every Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30 pm beginning March 12th.

We have been blessed with an abundance of yarn donations. Come help us sort this yarn and pick out yarn for your next prayer shawl project. Everyone is invited to enjoy a fun time of fellowship. We’ll have you in stiches!

Dear Pender Family:

We know that many of you are “artsy craftsy” people, and we would LOVE the scraps from your wonderful creations! Anything: ribbon, fabric, yarn, pipe cleaners, craft sticks, stickers, etc., would be greatly appreciated.

We are in school Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. You can drop your donations to us in the School Office, or you can leave them in the Church Office, clearly marked for Pender Hill School.
