Help Us Decorate our Christmas Altar!
Order a poinsettia in honor or in memory of a loved one to decorate our altar for Christmas. Cost is $9 per plant (payment must accompany order).
Stop by the Sign Up Center in the Narthex to pick up an order form. Orders must be received by Dec. 2nd.
Help Western Fairfax Christian Ministries’ Holiday Food Assistance Program
To sponsor a needy family(ies) with food assistance this year, please contact WFCM by clicking on this link (you may sponsor a family for one or both holidays). Gift cards to local grocery stores are also being accepted.
For more information and a list of suggested food items for different family sizes, pick up a flyer located at the Sign Up Center in the Narthex.
Operation Christmas Child
Pender’s Children’s Council & our American Heritage Girls are collecting toys for Operation Christmas Child. Bags for items will be distributed to our Sunday School classes.
Assistance is needed with shipping the boxes abroad which costs $7.00 per box. Samaritan’s Purse works with local churches & ministry partners to deliver the gifts and share the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ.
Please make checks payable to Pender United Methodist Church and state in the Memo line “Operation Christmas Child ” and place in the offering plate/basket by Sunday, November 10th.
