Poland Short-Term Mission Team
The Pender team is in the final planning for the Poland Short-Term Mission Trip. The camp theme is “Victorious Life and the Witness.”
Funds are still needed to sponsor Polish Youth. $220 covers one youth for the entire camp. $110 provides a half scholarship. In sports, victory is today but tomorrow is another event. In Christ, victory is Eternal.

The next Men’s Dinner Meeting will be held on June 25th at 7:00 pm.
Our guest speaker for the evening will be Phil Hannum, a member of Pender who will be sharing about his trip to a Billy Graham event in Japan. In addition, Tim Lyberger, our Youth Pastor will be speaking about sex trafficking in our area.

Today, June 22, at Pender UMC
Our very own Thom Jones, a member of Pender, will be preaching this Sunday, June 22nd, at the 8:15 & 11:00 am Traditional Services. His sermon title is “Standing Between Fear and Faith.” (2 Corinthians 5:1-10)
Our Youth Pastor, Tim Lyberger, will be preaching at our 9:30 Common Ground Service this Sunday. His sermon title is “What If!” (Matthew 26:18 & Romans 8:15)
Please note: Junior Church will not be meeting during the 11:00 Service in the summer. (Junior Church will resume after Labor Day.)
