Fun With Music, Singing, Playing and Fellowship

A Young Mother’s Fellowship with Children 0 to 5

This program provides the opportunity for mother’s to meet and fellowship with other young mothers. The program consists of the first 30 minutes of singing songs, age appropriate. The children then have a snack.

After the snack, toys are provided so the children, can play with the toys and each other. Grandmas watch the children and play with them while the moms enjoy a breakfast and visit with the other moms.

Everyone is in the same room through the program . This program is each Friday from 9:30 to 11:30am in the Cornerstone room of Pender Church.

The second year of this program starts September 12th thru December 12th. The cost is $35.00 per family to help with the cost of food.

Vacation Bible School Registration is open!

Pender’s 2014 summer Vacation Bible School will be held July 7-11, from 9:00 to 12:00 each morning,

VBS is open to children ages 3 through 6th grade (children MUST be potty trained – teachers will NOT change diapers).

Online registration began April 1, 2013 and will run to June 15, 2013 or when 250 children have registered, whichever comes first.

PARENTS: Enjoy the Gift of Time to Prepare for Christmas!

Christmas VBS — Dec. 7th 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Children ages 3 thru 6th grade

Lunch Provided

$10 per child/$20 per family

Registration Begins November 1st

Your children will have a wonderful time learning about the true meaning of Christmas while moving through different rotations of Christmas story, crafts, music & recreation. (Lunch provided.)

If you have questions or would like to volunteer to help, please email Sowmya or Harmonie.

(Please note that all children attending MUST be potty-trained.)

Sermon on September 22nd:

Children must be Taught – Deuteronomy 4:9

Who trains your child? You or the Public School? Who gives your child his/her values, morals? You or the Day Care? Who instructs your child about faith? You or the Church? It’s a duty to train up a child and teach the commandments. How are you doing with it?

“Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.” (Deuteronomy 4:9)
