New Sermon Series ~ Campmeeting – LOST

Aug. 4:  LOST Sheep – Luke 15:1-7

The parable of the Lost Sheep is one of the most famous in stained glass.  But the story is about real issues and real difficulties in life.  All of us feel LOST at some point.  When we simply wander off and get lost it is all the worse.  Let’s see if the lost can be found this Sunday.

Aug. 11:  LOST Coin – Luke 15:8-10

A lost coin can mean a lot or not anything at all these days.  Who stoops down to even retrieve a penny anymore?  Yet the coin mentioned here has GREAT worth.  What would you do to find it?  Let’s see what happens when we lose something because of carelessness.

Aug. 18:  LOST SON – Luke 15:11-24

This parable is second only to the Good Samaritan in familiarity.  It is because at one time or another we have all been here.  People get lost as well.  Most of the time it is our own choice.  What happens when we are lost?  How do we get home?  Let’s see this Sunday.

Aug. 25:  LOST Brother – Luke 15:25-32

We normally look at the lost as being those outside the church.  But what about the lost brothers.  Those within our fellowship and yet still are lost.  How do we minister to them and what good news do we have for them?  Let’s see this Sunday.

At 8:15, 9:30 and 11:00AM

How to Help When A Friend Is Depressed – John 21:15-21

Helping someone who is depressed is difficult but possible.  Jesus helped Peter in his depression.  Let’s see what tips He gives to us.

When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter,”Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”  “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.”  Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.” (John 21:15)
