Christmas VBS Registration Opens Today

Who: Kids Ages 3 (must be potty-trained)- 6th Grade

What:“Under Wraps: The Gift We Never Expected”

Where: Pender UMC Christmas VBS

Why: Celebrate Christmas and the Gift of Jesus Christ

When: Saturday, Dec. 5th @ 10 am – 2 pm

Cost: $10 per Kid or $20 total per Family

Join us for Christmas VBS on December 5, 2015 while your parents enjoy the gift of time to prepare for Christmas. We will enjoy music, crafts, lunch, recreation, a story and more!

Friday, July 10 ~ See What Our Children have Done!

At this year’s VBS, kids embarked on an icy expedition where they overcame obstacles with God’s awesome power. Kids were anchored in rock-solid Bible truths that will guide them through life’s challenges.

In addition, each day kids rotated through music, recreation, snack, craft, storytelling and even some “laboratory” time!

The VBS Final Program will be Friday, June 10 at 11 am.

At Pender’s Music Camp, rising second through sixth graders sing in choir, play Orff instruments, ring handbells, experiment with rhythm in a percussion class, learn to read music, and make crafts.

Friday afternoon traditionally concludes with musical performances which our campers perform for friends and family!

The Music Camp Final Program will be Friday, July 10 at 3:00 pm.

VBS 2015 Registration is Now Open!

At this year’s VBS, kids will embark on an icy expedition where kids overcome obstacles with God’s awesome power. Anchor kids in rock-solid Bible truths that will guide them through life’s challenges.

In addition, each day kids will rotate through music, recreation, snack, craft, storytelling and even some “laboratory” time!

Basics:

July 6-10, 9:00 to 12:00 each day at Pender UMC, 12401 Alder Woods Drive, Fairfax, VA 22033
Music Camp will be from 12:30-3:30 the same dates. Registration information coming soon.
Kids age 3 through 6th grade are welcome – note all children must be potty trained, teachers will NOT change diapers
Fees this year are $30 per child, $60 max per family. This includes the price of the music CD. Pay $30 each for the first two children in your family. Other children are no additional charge.
After you have registered 2 children, use the form VBS 2015 (Family) so that you are not charged more than $60 for your family.

There is a total limit of 250 children.
Be sure to register your child, not yourself. Click “Register Additional Individuals/Family”

Last Day to Register for Christmas VBS!

Registration began October 31 and ends November 30, 2014.

Christmas VBS will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 10:00 – 2:00

Pender is excited to once again host Christmas Vacation Bible School!

We’d love to lighten your load this holiday season and give you the gift of time to prepare for Christmas. Your children will have a wonderful time learning about the true meaning of Christmas while moving through different rotations of Christmas Story, craft, music and recreation. The children will be served lunch, so please note any allergies your child has on the registration form (available through My Pender Page).

Children ages 3 through 6th grade are welcome. Please note that all children attending MUST be potty-trained.

The fee for this event is $10 per child or $20 per family, to cover the cost of food and craft materials. The fee is payable during registration.
