Pender’s Annual Mission Conference ~ April 12-14th
The 26th annual Missions Conference weekend is Friday, April 12th to Sunday, April 14th. We will have activities for the whole family to enjoy. Including two themed pot luck suppers of South American and Asian/Indian Food, South American Dance Demonstrations, as well as, missionary speakers and wonderful music. Thank you for your support of the Faith Promise Missions Budget each year. The Faith Promise Mission’s Budget is separate from the general budget of the church and is funded by faith promises. A faith promise is when you make a promise to provide financial support to missions, you may not know where the resources will come from, and you trust God to provide the resources to meet your promise. This year’s Faith Promise Missions Budget goal is $310,000 and supports global and local missionaries, missionary organizations, short-term mission trips and projects.

Our Special Speaker will be Dr. Frank Decker.
He will be sharing about his work with sharing Jesus with the world. Frank currently serves as the Vice President for Member Care and Development for The Mission Society, based in Norcross, GA, where he enables the ministries of over 200 missionaries serving in 35 countries.
Prior to serving in the home office, Frank and his wife Vicki served as missionaries to Ghana, West Africa, for seven years. In Ghana, Frank served as the National Director of Evangelism for the Methodist Church of Ghana, taught evangelism at Trinity College and developed a ministry that currently has over 300 tent-making evangelists.
Frank has written over 60 published columns and articles on missions. Come and hear how you can be a part of what God is doing.
Pender’s UMW wants the women of the church to have time to reserve on their calendars the date of our tea on Sunday, May 19, at 2:30 PM, in the Fellowship Hall.
It will be a time for mothers/grandmothers to gather with their daughters/granddaughters, but also please know that ALL WOMEN of the church are invited! After all, we are ALL daughters of the King!!
