Please join us for a wonderful time of worship this Sunday, September 13th, at our 8:15, 9:30 & 11:00 worship services, as we kick-off our church-wide study, “A Disciple’s Path.”
Both Pastor Kenny & Pastor Dan will begin our new sermon series based on our church-wide study and will be preaching on “Defined by Grace” (Luke 10:25-28)
What is a disciple? As we walk a disciple’s path, it is not a path that wanders aimlessly through the woods. There is a destination we’re trying to reach. What is it? Join us and find out.

Youth in Mission
You won’t want to miss hearing from two of our Pender youth who have already discovered the joy of serving — Kayla Moxley in Philippi and Katelyn Barone in Peru for the first time. When God sends us to serve, God also sends us blessings. Since we are in the hiring process for our new band, they won’t be with us for this SNC. However, Peter and Rachel Kotiah have graciously agreed to provide our praise music for this time of worship.
It’s time for the exciting, wonderful, annual youth mission trip to Philippi, West Virginia!
This year’s trip will be from July 24 – August 1, 2015. We will be working on the barn at the Ridge, turning it into a Youth Center. We will also be doing other jobs on the Ridge as well as helping Heart in Hand with projects.

We will meet at Pender at 10:00am July 24 and then leave to begin our mission journey. We will return home to Pender on August 1 in the afternoon. You will need extra money for stops along the way down and back as well as money for spending and for offering at the church service. All other expenses are covered in the cost of the trip except spending money while in Philippi.
We will be staying at the 4-H camp in Barbour County. There will be nightly meetings and worship services held in the dinning hall each evening.
