Cushing's and kidney cancer (renal cell carcinoma) patient, founder, owner and webmaster of Cushing's Help and Support, web designer, piano teacher and mom. I am a Cushing's patient who has dealt with Cushing's symptoms since 1983 (or earlier) and the aftereffects of pituitary surgery since 1987. Because I had very little support for my symptoms, diagnosis and surgery, I decided to try to make things a little better for other patients and started a support site called Cushing's Help and Support in 2000. The site has grown to astronomical numbers. This disease isn't as rare as doctors have told us! In 2006, I was also diagnosed with kidney cancer (renal cell carcinoma). My left kidney and adrenal gland were removed. Having an adrenal gland removed complicates my post-Cushing's symptoms. I am not planning to have any more rare and unusual diseases. For all 4th-6th Graders

Meets this Sunday, January 10th, in the Cornerstone Room (Room 215) from 5-7pm.

We will continue with Bible verses and stories in Christian Rock songs and will be making pillows for guests in the hypothermia center.

Acolyte Training!

09 Jan

All current acolytes and all 4th-12th grade students interested in serving as an acolyte, please attend the acolyte training session on Sunday, February 7th at 9:30 in the Sanctuary.

We ask that at least one parent or guardian also attend. Acolytes assist pastors during the 8:15 and 11am services. Come learn what it means to be a part of this important ministry.

Grow Closer to God in 2016 ~ Join One of our New Studies!

1) Monday Morning Women’s Bible Study will be starting a new study entitled Joy! A Bible Study on Philippians for Women beginning January 11th at 9:30 am in Room 216. Contact Jami Flemmons for more information.

2)Women of the New Testament is the focus of the Tuesday am Women’s Bible Study at 9:30-11am in Room 218-220, beginning January 12th. Contact Karen Cross for more information.

3) Wednesday Night Women’s Bible Study and small group will resume meeting on January 13th from 7:30-9pm in the Library with a study on the book of Ecclesiastes, using a guide by Dee Brestin, A Woman of Contentment. Please contact Mary Metzler for additional information.
