Please join us to celebrate our wonderful Pender Man of the Year (Butch Kinerney) and Pender Women of the Year (Carrie Cahoon & Tammy Chipman)
Let’s celebrate together at a light brunch in their honor in the fellowship hall on February 26th after the 11 am service. Each of the award recipients will speak briefly about their time here at Pender. Come out and show your gratitude for all that these servants have done for our church and community!
It’s that time of the year to give prayerful consideration to the women we would like to nominate for Pender’s 2016 Woman of the Year award. Please select a woman who you feel has gone above and beyond during 2016!
(Please note: recipient can only receive this award once — see list in the UMW directory or the Women of the Year plaques located across from Rm. 206 to see previous recipients.)
Nomination forms can be found in the UMW mailbox across from the elevators and given to Joyce Munt in the Church Office, or email Joyce with the woman’s name and why you feel she deserves this award.
January 31, 2016 Pastor Kenny will be preaching at all 3 services on “BFF: Building in Faith for the Future” (Matthew 7:24-29)
Building in Faith for the Future is Pender’s Capital Campaign to fund a church-wide renovation and expansion, as put forth by the Building Committee and approved by the congregation in November 2015.
