All children are invited to bring their backpacks to one of the services on Sunday, August 27th, to have their backpacks blessed for the new school year and to receive a surprise.

Bring your backpacks for a special blessing as we all prepare to start a new school year!
Who: Students of all ages & teachers
What: Back to School Backpack Blessing
When: Sunday, August 30, at all 3 worship services
Blessing of the Backpacks
August 24 at all 3 Services
August 31 at the 9:30 Common Ground Service
Children are encouraged to bring their school backpacks to be blessed during the services.
A special token will be given to each child to take with them to school every day to remind them that they are blessed!
New Sunday School Classes ~ Beginning Sept. 8th
NEW SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES FOR CHILDREN

Room assignments for all classes – children, youth and adults – are posted inside Pender’s front doors.
Adults, you are invited to start the new school year with a desire to try a new class or return to your favorite one.
