Let’s celebrate together at a light brunch in their honor in the fellowship hall on February 26th after the 11 am service. Each of the award recipients will speak briefly about their time here at Pender. Come out and show your gratitude for all that these servants have done for our church and community!

Building in Faith for the Future is Pender’s Capital Campaign to fund a church-wide renovation and expansion, as put forth by the Building Committee and approved by the congregation in November 2015.

January 31: The Pender Youth Orchestra, 4:15-5:00 pm. The Youth Orchestra is open to all youth grades 7 through 12 who play a wind, brass, stringed or percussion instrument. New members are always welcome! The Orchestra plays 4-5 times during Sunday morning worship from December-June. More information.

It’s easy to say I love you if or I love you when but that’s not Jesus love. His is unconditional. Let’s look at what that really means this Sunday.
February 9: Ruth Circle will be selling necklaces, bracelets, and earrings, 8:00 am-12:00 pm. This is a good time to think about your favorite Valentine. We will also have a few handmade little boxes. All items will be $5.00 each. Again, all proceeds will go to Western Fairfax Christian Ministries and the Backpack program.
