ONE Service on Sunday, July 7 at 10am

During the summer months, we will unite together in one worship service in the Sanctuary at 10am on the first Sundays of the months of July, August and September. We will continue to have all 3 services — 8:15am, 9:30am, 11am — throughout the other weeks of each summer month.

One Worship Service will be held on the following dates:

July 7th
August 4th
September 1st

Annual Backpack Collection

Pender is partnering with Western Fairfax Christian Ministries to provide larger sized backpacks for 50 needy students who will be attending Chantilly High School in the fall.

WFCM’s Annual Backpack Program helps provide backpacks to 1700 students in 24 elementary, middle, and high schools in Centreville, Chantilly, Clifton and Fairfax.

Backpacks must be 18 inches high x 13 inches wide x 7-8 inches deep (other sizes will not be accepted).

Buying suggestion: Costco sells a High Sierra Backpack for under $20. Backpack donations are due by July 28th. (Please no backpacks from 5 Below — they are too small.)
