Next Blessing of the Backpacks
September 1st at 9:30 am Service
Children are encouraged to bring their school backpacks to be blessed during the 9:30 Common Ground Service.
A special token will be given to each child to take with them to school every day to remind them that they are blessed.

Music Transportation Ministry?
Pender’s Music Ministry is considering starting a transportation ministry to help those families who are unable to get their children to the church on Thursday afternoons for choir and bell rehearsals. Before we can do that, however, we need to know how much interest there would be in starting this ministry.

To avoid meeting during Labor Day Weekend, we will celebrate the testimonies of two members of the laity the evening of Sept. 8th at our Sing ‘n Celebrate Worship Service.
