Foster Care Rally

There are hundreds of children in foster care in the state of Virginia, waiting for a family to call their own.

Rally at Cherrydale Baptist in Arlington on Saturday, May 11, (register here), where you will hear powerful stories from families whose lives have been enhanced by foster care and adoption. These events are intended to inspire us all to work together to make a difference in children’s lives, and help to end their wait!

Matthew 25:40 “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.“

Sing ‘n Celebrate ~ May 5

SING ‘N CELEBRATE MAY 5 AT 7 PM

At our May SNC, you will hear from two Pender members how they discovered who they are in Christ —-how they were changed from the inside out.

Plan to join us as we hear how they learned to live each day guided by the Holy Spirit.

Don’t Forget Your Tickets!

Jazz Concert and Dance in Pender’s Fellowship Hall

Featuring the Westfield High School Jazz Band

Join us for a fun time and some great jazz music! You can sit and enjoy the music or join us on the dance floor – light refreshments will be provided. This event is open to ages 18 years old and up.

Tickets are $10 per person in advance, $12 per person at the door.

This is a fundraising event – proceeds will be split between Pender Youth Ministry and the Westfield High School 2014 Tournament of Roses Parade Fund.

Short Term Missions Trip ~ Paraguay

Is God Calling You?

Pender is sponsoring a short-term mission trip to Paraguay on August 7-20. We plan to conduct programs for women, teens & children as well as some construction projects. We are blessed to have both adults and teens on our team.
