And, time to sing again…
If you like to eat, pray, fellowship and SHOP, please join the United Methodist Women on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 9-11am for a prayer breakfast.
Our topic will be “Fair Trade: What is it, and why should we care about it?” Immediately following the breakfast, we will be hosting a Fair Trade Market, where we will have fair trade merchandise available for purchase.
There is no cost for the breakfast. Join us to learn about and support this worthy cause.
Service opportunity! We need volunteers to assist with the Fair Trade Market after the prayer breakfast on November 5!
Please look for sign up sheets in the Church Lobby, or contact Angie Green or Caroline Anderson for more information.
After the 11am service on Nov. 13th, help is needed with bagging of items, baking cookies, assembling baskets and sorting clothing in the Fellowship Hall.
Monetary donations appreciated (a donation of $45 = cost of one basket).
Help us distribute Thanksgiving baskets & clothing to the needy in our area at 2:00 pm outside on our church grounds on Nov. 20th.
Contact Liliana Rivera for more information and to volunteer to help.
Ruth Circle will have their annual Chicken Chili Lunch on November 6th.
We are now selling tickets between all three services on Sundays.
The tickets must be purchased by Oct. 30th so we will know the number of people. The price of the tickets: $8 per adult, $5 for children between 5 and l0 years. Children under 5 will be free. Family ticket for $30.
Consider pre-ordering a handmade cornucopia at the Chicken Chili Luncheon ticket area.
The price is $20 and the proceeds will benefit the Building Fund. They will be ready for pick-up at the luncheon on November 6. (They are sturdy enough to mail as a gift.)
