Donations can be left in the blue grocery cart located in the coat rack area at the Church.

DON’T HAVE TIME TO SHOP for “Items of the Week”?

You can make a financial contribution – by cash, check or online using direct ACH or a credit card -to the WFCM food pantry.

IMPORTANT – Mark your donation to”WFCM Food Pantry” -if giving online, choose the Miscellaneous fund and write “WFCM Food Pantry” in the optional description box that pops up. That way we’ll be sure your donation is handled the way you want. This will be recorded as your giving and is tax deductible.

Our second meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 26th, at 2 pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Come join us for an ice cream treat, an “easy-peasy” service project, and a vote on a name for the group.

Questionnaires are still available in the Narthex – please fill one out to get our ideas going!

Position Announcement: Facility Manager

Pender United Methodist Church is accepting applications for the position of Facility Manager. The Facility Manager is responsible for the overall physical care of the church, including identifying maintenance and repair needs of all church property and grounds (including vehicles, parking lot, etc). The Facility Manager also ensures that all requests for services and assistance are handled promptly and efficiently, while maintaining positive working relationships with all professional and volunteer staff, congregation members and visitors.

The Facility Manager is a salaried 30-hour per week position.
