There is only one debt for the follower of Christ. It is the debt of love we owe. Giving our love away isn’t a suggestion but a debt to be paid. Let’s see how we are doing on the payment of love.
“Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.” (Romans 13:8-10)

More from the Pender ReGift Thrift Store…

Uh, if you don’t know, Terry Havens is our associate pastor’s wife, so when we’re talking about going wild, it ain’t That Wild. On the other hand, if you saw the earring and necklace boards that she has created and filled with her handiwork, you would understand that she has certainly outdone herself this time!
Like Saundra Sandrock, Terry has volunteered her time, talent, and materials to us for free, to benefit our mission and the thrift store. She has suggested more-than-reasonable prices, with necklaces for $5 and $6 and earrings going for $2 and $3 a pair.
You better come quick! Terry’s ideas on display and marketing have already been effective. I wasn’t even able to take pictures before holes developed in the board by pieces being sold.
Thank you, Terry!
