In 2013, 540,000 wreaths were donated and placed at more than 900 participating locations.
Last year, American Heritage Girls in the Washington, DC area laid approximately 3,000 wreaths at a nationwide remembrance ceremony at the U.S. Soldiers’ and Airmen’s Home National Cemetery in Washington D.C. Help fill the entire cemetery of 13,000 veterans’ graves this year with your donation today!
Sponsorship forms are available in the Narthex and donations are requested by Nov. 17th.

Pender’s Children’s Council & our American Heritage Girls are collecting toys for Operation Christmas Child. Bags for items will be distributed to our Sunday School classes.
Assistance is needed with shipping the boxes abroad which costs $7.00 per box. Samaritan’s Purse works with local churches & ministry partners to deliver the gifts and share the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ.
Please make checks payable to Pender United Methodist Church and state in the Memo line “Operation Christmas Child ” and place in the offering plate/basket by Sunday, November 10th.
