We are partnering with Western Fairfax Christian Ministries to provide backpacks for needy students in our area.
Needed: 50 large sized backpacks with 2 main compartments. Backpack size: 18 inches high x 13 inches wide x 7-8 inches deep (Buying suggestion — Costco sells a High Sierra Backpack for $18.99)
Backpack donations can by dropped off in the box located near the Sign Up Center in the Narthex.
August 24 at all 3 Services
August 31 at the 9:30 Common Ground Service
Children are encouraged to bring their school backpacks to be blessed during the services.
A special token will be given to each child to take with them to school every day to remind them that they are blessed!
