Sing ‘n Celebrate is Pender Church’s informal evening worship service that has a focus on contemporary Christian music and original dramas and testimonies. Dress is casual and the atmosphere offers a wonderful means to start the week with God in mind.
In addition to music and testimonies, prayer is offered. Communion is served periodically.
Whether you are a new Christian, or have been following Christ for years, this is just a wonderful way to gather in fellowship, sing songs to God and listen to your brothers and sisters as they share their faith. We invite you to come and bring a friend, meet other Pender People and leave with a song on your heart and the Son in your eyes.
SING ‘N CELEBRATE
CELEBRATING CHILDREN
OCT. 2, 5-6 PM, IN THE PENDER SANCTUARY
Join us for an opportunity to show appreciation for the Pender kids who will share with us portions of Sarah Young’s version of “Jesus Calling” which has been adapted in a language and fashion that kids can relate to their everyday lives. Our Worship Leader is selecting songs which can easily be enjoyed by both kids and adults, also.
Begins September 11th at 9:30 to 10:40 am
Prepare to embark on an adventure like no other, scouring the mysterious fathoms of the deep sea. Thrilling discoveries await just beyond the portholes of your submarine. Things look very different once you get below the surface – and that’s true for life above the surface, too.
As kids submerge themselves in God’s Word, they will discover that Jesus saw people differently. He didn’t just see what’s on the outside; He saw who people were down deep.
As kids learn to see themselves and others as Jesus sees them, they can realize that everyone needs a Savior – even those who look like they have it all together. A relationship with Jesus Christ changes everything! All you have to do is dive in!
Kids will rotate through music, recreation, snack, crafts and storytelling!
