Jesus had no trouble loving himself as he is perfect love.  For most of us we’re more like the Woman at the Well.  Let’s see how Jesus helped her learn to love herself and do the same.

Tomorrow at Pender

We will have breakfast snacks provided during the 8:15 and 9:30 worship services, with a full blown, “old fashioned” Methodist pot luck after the 11:00 service.

Our ministry areas and cluster leads will be on hand to answer questions and greet our guests. It is our hope you will join us, with a friend, to make a difference on Back To Church Sunday on September 8th!

Come and invite a friend for a spectacular day of food, fellowship, new faces and ministry opportunities!

September 8, 2013 Sermon: What’s Missing in CH__CH?

The scripture will be Mark 1:29-31. “As soon as they left the synagogue, they went with James and John to the home of Simon and Andrew.  Simon’s mother-in-law was in bed with a fever, and they immediately told Jesus about her.  So he went to her, took her hand and helped her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on them.”

Music Transportation Ministry?  

Pender’s Music Ministry is considering starting a transportation ministry to help those families who are unable to get their children to the church on Thursday afternoons for choir and bell rehearsals.  Before we can do that, however, we need to know how much interest there would be in starting this ministry.
