Wear RED this Sunday, May 15th! It’s Pentecost Sunday, one of the principal days of the Christian year, celebrated on the fiftieth day after Easter. The Greek word pentecoste means “fiftieth day.”
Pentecost is the day on which the Christian church commemorates the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles and others assembled in Jerusalem.
It marks the beginning of the Christian church and the proclamation of its message throughout the world and is often referred to as the birthday of the church.
Pastor Kenny will be preaching on “Fire!” (Acts 2:1-4) at the 8:15 & 11am Services and Pastor Dan will be preaching on “The Spirit Awakens!” (Acts 2:1-13)

Prepare to embark on an adventure like no other, scouring the mysterious fathoms of the deep sea. Thrilling discoveries await just beyond the portholes of your submarine. Things look very different once you get below the surface – and that’s true for life above the surface, too.
As kids submerge themselves in God’s Word, they will discover that Jesus saw people differently. He didn’t just see what’s on the outside; He saw who people were down deep.
As kids learn to see themselves and others as Jesus sees them, they can realize that everyone needs a Savior – even those who look like they have it all together. A relationship with Jesus Christ changes everything! All you have to do is dive in!
Kids will rotate through music, recreation, snack, crafts and storytelling!

The days leading up to Easter often have an understandably somber feel to them, particularly as we contemplate Jesus’ arrest, trial, and execution. It’s easy to forget that the week begins with a joyful event: the Triumphal Entry!
Sunday, March 20, 2016 is Palm Sunday, the first day of Holy Week. On Palm Sunday, we commemorate Jesus’ celebrated entry into Jerusalem just a few days before his arrest, trial, and crucifixion.
The “palm” in Palm Sunday refers to the palm branches waved by the adoring Jerusalem crowds who welcomed Jesus and proclaimed him King. The event is commonly referred to as the Triumphal Entry.

Please join us at our 8:15, 9:30 & 11am worship services.
Pastor Kenny & Pastor Dan will be continuing our current sermon series, The God We Can Know, and will be preaching on “Knowing God’s Way.” Scripture: John 14:1-6
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)
