This Sunday’s sermon is entitled “Embrace Your Place” (1 Corinthians 12:12-27)
When we find the place we’re meant to be, we can discover more about ourselves than we thought possible. In this two-part series, we’ll learn that the search for purpose can lead you to some unexpected places. In week one, learn to embrace the moment in time God has placed you in: you’re there for a reason. And in week two, we’ll explore how God uses highly unlikely people in highly unlikely ways to bring about highly unlikely results, when we’re just obedient.

Join us this Sunday, August 23rd, as we worship with the young men and women at the Fairfax County Juvenile Detention Center. Your participation matters to the residents, as the staff repeatedly tells us how we make a difference in the young men and women’s lives and the lives of the staff! New Church-Wide Study and Sermon Series Beginning September 13th:
This program guides individuals to take the next step in discipleship and become dynamic, engaged followers of Jesus Christ.The study combines a Wesleyan understanding of our growth in God’s love and grace with the time-tested practices of spiritual discipline expressed in the membership vows to uphold the church with our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness.
Participants will develop spiritual practices, discover their unique gifts, and become engaged in ministry that brings transformation in their own lives, the lives of others, and the world.
