Golf anyone?

Mark your calendars!

Our Pender United Methodist Men & United Methodist Women groups are sponsoring a Golf Outing on October 6 at 12pm at Twin Lakes Golf Course in Clifton, Va.

Invite your friends and business associates!

Registration forms can be picked up in the Church Office or at the Sign-Up Table in the Church Lobby on Sundays after the 8:15 Service until noon or online by clicking on this link.

Registration forms and payments need to be turned into the Church Office soon.

We would love assistance in rounding up corporate or business donations, accounting, advertising, or dinner planning.

All Ladies are Invited!

Grace and Glory Fitness

Ladies, join us for ”Grace and Glory” Fitness Classes – coming to Pender on Mondays from 11am-noon in the Fellowship Hall.

Grace and Glory is a worship-filled fitness class that gets your heart rate up, and your heart singing praises to God. Come as you are, and leave knowing you are making your temple stronger physically, mentally and spiritually. The workout itself combines cardio, strength training, and a unique drumming technique for fun-filled full body workout.

It’s fellowship and fun with a little sweat mixed in!

Ladies should bring hand weights and a mat, if they have them, and a water bottle.

Help Support Sanctity of Life Ministries

Help the Hurricane Victims

UMCOR is currently working with disaster coordinators and early response teams to provide relief to the many people whose lives have been impacted by hurricane/tropical storm Harvey. Please continue to pray for those whose lives have been impacted by the storm.

To support UMCOR’s efforts, please donate to Pender UMC and designate that your gift is for UMCOR.

Today, September 17, at Pender UMC

Please join us this Sunday, September 17th, at our 8:15, 9:30 and 11am Worship Services.

Pastor Dan will begin a new sermon series based on our church-wide study, “Solve: Finding God’s Solutions in a World of Problems” and their first sermon in the series is entitled “Problemists” (Nehemiah 1:1-11).

Turning Point Youth Group for 7th – 12th Grades

All 7th through 12th graders are invited to bring their friends to Youth Group every Sunday at 6:30pm (dinner will be provided).

All parents of teenagers are invited to a parents meeting regarding our Turning Point Youth Group on September 17th at 7pm in the Fellowship Hall.
