You’ve Been Flocked!

The Flamingos have landed!
Our Turning Point Youth Group has been very busy this summer!  Think PINK!
Pink flamingos have been showing up in the yards of Pender members all over the area! All done in a spirit of friendship and fun in hopes of bringing smiles to all who see them!
Want to get in on the fun? Flocking details:
  • If flocked, the flamingos will roost in your lawn until the following night when they will mysteriously migrate to another friend’s (victim’s) lawn. (If flocked, the youth group will gladly accept any donation of your choice for the removal of their feathered friends.)
  • If you would like to specify the next victim, a small donation of $10 to the Youth Group will be accepted. (Pick up a “Flock a Friend” form on the table near the coat racks on Sundays.)
  • Anti-flocking insurance is also available, guaranteeing that no flock of flamingos will roost on your lawn for the amazing price of $25! (Purchase anti-flocking Insurance on Sundays at the table near the coat racks.)

Pender Rocks the Block! September 15, 2017

Invite your friends & neighbors!

Food Trucks, live entertainment, moon bounces, obstacle course, glow-in-the dark sports games, balloon sculptures, face painting, glitter tattoos…and more!

Invite your friends and neighbors! We’re going to have a blast! And as part of this fun evening, we’re having a:

Pender’s Got Talent Show  (similar to “America’s Got Talent” Show but with Pender’s very own judges and MC!)
EVERYONE has a unique talent to share!
  • Do you sing, dance, act?
  • Recite poetry or other writing?
  • Lip-sync to your favorite song?
  • Tell jokes?
  • Can you share your (stage appropriate) athletic talent?
  • Want to present your artwork or handiwork?
  • There are endless possibilities…

Today, August 27, at Pender UMC

Please join us this morning, August 27th, at our 8:15, 9:30 and 11am Worship Services.

Pastor Kenny will continue his sermon series at our 8:15 & 11am services on “The Games We Play.”
At our 9:30 Service, Pastor Dan will continue his sermon series entitled “Playlist” and will be preaching on “Scars to Your Beautiful” (Ephesians 2:8-10).
From last weeks message in this series. At our 9:30 Service, Pastor Dan began a new sermon series entitled “Playlist” and preached on “Million Reasons” (Hebrews 12:2-3). Your life has a soundtrack. Every peak, every low note, and every rhythm make up a part of who you are. Don’t just shuffle through your days — create a Playlist worth listening to!
