Join us for our Upcoming Ash Wednesday Service & Spaghetti Dinner ~ Feb. 10th
Pender’s own American Heritage Girls Troop will host an Ash Wednesday Spaghetti Dinner at Pender on Feb. 10 from 6 – 6:45 p.m ~ prior to our Ash Wednesday Service at 7pm.
The dinner includes a choice of white or wheat pasta and meat or vegetarian sauce, garlic bread, salad and dessert. A gluten-free option is also available. Reservations are requested to help with planning.
This year the Pender Men are teaming with our sponsored Boy Scout troop #1530 and combining our mulch sales so that we can help each other’s programs and deliver your mulch to your driveway on Saturday March 5th.
Pender Men sponsors short term mission trips for our parishioners to places like Peru, Thailand, Poland, Paraguay, and Philippi, WV, as well as supporting local missions and vital Pender activities like the recent Men’s Retreat held this past November.
Please visit http://goo.gl/PJWfMN to securely order your mulch, or contact Dave Cacner at dcacner@verizon.net.
Please also consider volunteering to assist in delivering mulch with us on the 5th.
January 31, 2016 Pastor Kenny will be preaching at all 3 services on “BFF: Building in Faith for the Future” (Matthew 7:24-29)
Building in Faith for the Future is Pender’s Capital Campaign to fund a church-wide renovation and expansion, as put forth by the Building Committee and approved by the congregation in November 2015.
