This Sunday, June 12th, is Graduation Sunday. We will be honoring all of our high school and college graduates during our 11:00 am service. (All graduates are encouraged to wear their cap and gowns!)
At our 8:15 and 11:00 am Services, Pastor Kenny will be preaching on “Staying Positive in a Negative World” (Romans 12:1-2); and Pastor Dan will also be preaching on the same sermon title and scripture at the 9:30 Service.
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God–this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Please join us on Missions Celebration Sunday, April 10th, at our 8:15, 9:30 & 11am Services.Our Guest Speaker will be Dr. Max Wilkins who will be preaching at all 3 services, “On a Mission with God” (Acts 1:6-11).
Dr. Wilkins served as a pastor in Florida and Hawaii for 26 years prior to becoming President and CEO of The Mission Society in 2014. He has led small and large local churches, planted satellite campuses, and helped to launch more than 100 church plants during that time. Max has been personally engaged in cross-cultural mission work for 20 years, having served and taught in more than two dozen countries around the world. He has been a public advocate for mission in the local church, speaking in more than 100 churches around the US.

April 10-30: Second Chance! Buy a TShirt to help support the Building in Faith Capital Campaign.More information. We offered two colors and two styles (a unisex that goes from youth through adult and a ladies cut). We chose these colors based on recommended colors from the t-shirt designer, since colors we had originally selected would not have highlighted our logo as well once they were printed. And limiting it to two will allow us to better stand out as a group at these events.

This coming Sunday, April 1st, Glen Osborn from China Outreach Ministries will be our special pre-Pender Missions Celebration speaker and will be preaching at all 3 services on “We Work Out, God Works In” (Philippians 2:12-13)
Rev. Glen Osborn has served as President of China Outreach Ministries since 2000. Previously, he served as a youth pastor in Erie, Pennsylvania, a music minister in Cleveland, Tennessee, and a lead pastor in Canton, Ohio. Glen earned a BA in Music Education from Glassboro State College and an MA in Christian studies from Wheaton College in 2015. Glen received his doctor of ministry degree from Columbia International University.
