Deadline to Order Mulch!

Only 1 more day to order your mulch!

The last day to order is March 7, 2013

This is our annual fundraiser, enabling the Pender Men to sponsor short-term mission trips for men from Pender to minister in places like Peru, Thailand, Poland, Paraguay, and Philippi, WV. Funds raised also support local missions including the Voices of Youth, FACETS, Western Fairfax Christian Ministries, and other vital Pender activities.

This year we will be delivering mulch on Saturday, March 16th.

The Bible is a powerful telling of stories from the Scriptures mixing live action with state-of-the-art CGI. The Bible App was recently named the official app of The Bible series, a production of husband-and-wife team Roma Downey (Touched by an Angel) and Mark Burnett (Survivor, The Voice).

See the premiere tonight – and then continue to watch each week until the finale on Easter Sunday, March 31.

Confirmation Class starts on March 17th for all 7th graders and up who have not joined as members of Pender UMC.

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
