In 2013, 540,000 wreaths were donated and placed at more than 900 participating locations.
Last year, American Heritage Girls in the Washington, DC area laid approximately 3,000 wreaths at a nationwide remembrance ceremony at the U.S. Soldiers’ and Airmen’s Home National Cemetery in Washington D.C. Help fill the entire cemetery of 13,000 veterans’ graves this year with your donation today!

November 2: Sunday School Class: The Truth Project (began September 21) (in the Genesis to Revelation Sunday School Class in Room 218-220) This Focus on the Family’s DVD series, with 26 one-half hour lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett, is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical perspective. lesson discusses the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life.
November 2: Sunday School Class: The Good and Beautiful God (began September 21) (Room 205 – Library) A new Sunday School course immediately after the 9:30 am worship service led by Brian and Angie Green will be reading and discussing this book. November 2: Sing ‘N’ Celebrate, 7:00 pm More information The SNC family is hoping to get to know some more Pender folks we don’t already know at our potluck supper. We know that Methodists enjoy good food, so we are joining Family Ministries in sponsoring the potluck. We will then move to the sanctuary where we will praise our Lord in song along with hearing testimonies of Martin Patch and Diane Wilhite. Also, keep in mind that we will close our service with a Time for Healing. Please know that all are welcome. Are you or a friend in need of any type of healing?
Daylight Saving Time 2014 ends for the year so the clock change for the fall takes place Sunday morning at 2 a.m. on Nov. 2. Daylight Saving Time 2014 seems overdue, but it is the same time each year.
The clock changes on the first Sunday in November. Daylight Saving Time starts on the second Sunday in March each year.

Crafts will be sold from 9am-3pm and everything is $15.00 or less, with wrapping available. The Old Dominion Cloggers will perform at 1:30pm. Proceeds will help feed the needy in our area.
