Let’s celebrate together at a light brunch in their honor in the fellowship hall on February 26th after the 11 am service. At our 8:15 & 11:00 Services, Pastor Kenny begins a new sermon series entitled “Coming to Terms with the Story – Parables of Jesus.” All of us love a good story. Jesus loved a good story and told them as parables.
For the next 4 weeks we will see what the stories really say and come face to face with Jesus’ story. The sermon title for this Sunday is“What Have You Done with the Story?” (Mark 4:1-20)
At our 9:30 service, Pastor Dan begins a new sermon series entitled “#Lifehacks” and his message this Sunday is entitled “Who Do You Love?” (Matthew 5:43-48)

This Sunday, January 22nd, join us in worship with the young men and women at the Juvenile Detention Center. You may feel like your individual participation doesn’t matter, but it does! Over and over again, the staff tells us how we make a difference in the young men and women’s lives and the lives of the staff! All we need to do is show up and worship!
Each month, the counselors and the residents look forward to our visit. It’s easy and it only takes an hour-and-a-half at a crucial time in someone’s life.
We meet at 1:00 pm at the Juvenile Detention Center, 10650 Page Ave. Fairfax, VA 22030.
