June 21 – Annual Conference Sunday. “Father Knows Best”

Using Romans 8:18-25 as a base, we will take a closer look at the significance of Father’s Day from a variety of perspectives – most importantly, God’s.  Thom Jones will be preaching at 8:15 and 11:00am

What is the Annual Conference?

An Annual Conference is a regional body that governs much of the life of the “Connectional Church.” Sound confusing? We agree. Chuck will try to make sense of “Annual Conferences” when he makes a conference call.

The-Sailors-Bible2

Please join us today Sunday, June 7, in worship at the 8:15, 9:30 and 11:00 Services.

Sermon Series:  STORIES

June 7 – The Children’s Musical, The Sailor’s Bible, will be presented by the Asbury and Wesley Choirs of Pender UMC.

This new children’s musical includes three Bible stories: Noah and the Great Flood, Jonah and the Great Fish, and Paul’s Shipwreck. Each story features the ocean as a symbol for the chaos of life and shows how only the power of God is greater than the natural forces of wind and wave.

It’s all done with a childlike playfulness full of humor and songs rich with catchy melodies.

  • Can you help support our Poland MissionTeam? The Poland mission team leaving at the end of June is collecting any size color beads & charms (to make necklaces and bracelets) and tennis racquets that are still in good condition. Please drop off your donations in the box in the Narthex marked “Poland Sports Camp.”
