But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. We can’t make the journey through the Lenten Season without recalling Jesus’ words – “Forgive them, Father, they don’t know what they’re doing.”
There were so many who were instrumental in causing Jesus’ torturous path to Golgotha — even the apostle and the false witnesses who were paid for betraying Jesus and lying about His ministry. And yes, we can’t forget that in God’s incredible plan, Jesus took our sins willingly with Him to that awful cross.
Don’t miss this opportunity to focus on the amazing self-control and tolerance of Jesus when faced with the total injustice of a mockery of a trial.
All 7th graders and older are invited to join our Confirmation Class, beginning on March 23rd at 2:00-4:00 pm.
